Stereo Mode

Stereo Mode lets you turn two SoundTouch 10 speakers into a fixed stereo pair. One speaker plays the left channel, the other plays the right channel. Bosman then handles them as one stereo setup.

Requirements

  • Two SoundTouch 10 speakers on the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Both speakers must already be visible in Bosman and assigned to the same account.
  • Neither speaker can already belong to another stereo pair.

Create a stereo pair

  1. Open the SoundTouch 10 you want to start from in the app.
  2. Go to the group or speaker configuration area.
  3. Select Stereo Mode.
  4. Choose the second SoundTouch 10.
  5. Assign which speaker should play Left and which should play Right.
  6. Confirm the setup. Bosman stores the stereo pair first and then connects both speakers as one combined setup.

What happens next

  • The left speaker plays only the left channel and the right speaker plays only the right channel.
  • After that, Bosman lets you control the pair as one stereo setup.
  • You can rename the stereo pair inside the app.

Swap left and right

If the channel assignment is wrong, delete the stereo pair and create it again with the opposite role assignment.

The left/right mapping is defined during creation and is not switched directly on the existing pair.

If setup fails

  • Check that both speakers are reachable on the same local network.
  • Check that both devices appear in Bosman and belong to the same account.
  • Check whether either speaker is still part of another stereo or group setup.
  • If needed, remove an incomplete pair and run the setup again.
